Meridian's dispatchers were tracking a growing fleet across twelve countries in spreadsheets. We built the live map, the Android driver app and the web back-office on one event stream, then cut over market by market without a day of downtime.

Every vehicle with its status, driver and speed, live, sorted by what needs attention. Filters for moving, idle and offline sit at the top because dispatchers use them every few minutes.
One trip end to end: route, stops, timings and the driver's notes, against the plan. Deviations are highlighted in place, so the explanation is never more than a tap away.
A driver's day, week and history: hours, trips, incidents and documents with expiry dates. Built for the compliance review, so the export matches what the regulator asks for.
Any vehicle's routes over any period, replayed on the map. The scrubber steps through position pings, which is how disputed deliveries get settled.
Speeding, geofence exits, long idles and missed check-ins, each with who was notified and when. Rules are set per market, since a long idle in Lagos is not the same as one in Oslo.
Utilisation, fuel, on-time rate and cost per kilometre by market, week on week. The board sees the same numbers from the same event stream, with no spreadsheet in between.
Tomorrow's trips assigned to vehicles and drivers, dragged into place. Conflicts show as you drag, so a double-booked driver is caught the evening before.
Markets, users, roles and integrations for the whole company in one place. Adding a market is a form, not a project, which is how twelve went live in a year.
